Service Description

Two Officer Tactics give partners or shift mates confidence during the control and arrest of a potentially violent subject. Years ago the team tactic used was the “Polyester Pile On”. There was no structure to it other than the officer’s using gravity to control the subject. Unfortunately many times officer’s were being struck by their own partner or even worse handcuffed by mistake. This old tactic is still used by many departments. I’ve found that once partners, shift mates or even entire departments train with these new tactics it renews their confidence in their skills and they even look forward to future training. This course will cover two officer takedowns, ground control to handcuffing. It is strongly suggested that three officers from the same department attend this course at the same time as they will rotate through positions including being the “Bad Guy”.
